djs :D (it's a kdrama)

Hahahha. I'm feeling really happy right now because I just finished another drama and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. My eyes are blackened because of it, but I'm smiling like crazy hahhaha. It's strange what dramas do to you.

Oh and this drama is also the reason I haven't posted anything since the 5th of August. Teeehhheeeeee :D :D :D. How long has that been? 11 days?
Hahhaha. Normally I like to finish dramas in 2 or 3 days but for me, that is only can only achievable when the drama spans less than 18 episodes.
This drama was 22 episodes, and of course, I have school, so on weekdays I can only watch 2 episodes, and on weekends I can watch about 5. Hahha.

:D Well the drama I just finished is another Korean one, hahha(Yeah most dramas I watch now are Korean, and FYI Kdrama means Korean Drama).
Hahha, and this one is totally not a crap-drama, unlike some others you might find. Gyahahhahahha. The drama is actually pretty old, I think it's from 2007 or something, and I think it's aimed for viewers who are in the working class, because it's about a girl who is 33 years old, still waiting for love. Hahahha.
Yeah the way I put it sounds a bit cheesy but nooo, it's not.
It's really funny... hahhaha. My favourite dramas to watch are romance-comedies. Even if they mess with your emotions a lot, they mostly leave you smiling.

The name of the drama is Dal Ja's Spring. Hahaha. I love it. I don't know, this one is probably in my top 5 or top 7 at the least. Hahah.
you can watch it on mysoju.com
Like I said, It's about a 33 year old woman who hasn't ever experienced true love. She is doing fine in other aspects of life like work and stuff though. The main characters name is Oh Dal Ja, being 33, she needs to think about getting married.
She is a lovable character, she has a cute bubbly personality, but not so much that it's exaggerated and makes the viewers sick of her. She gets angry easily and it's fun to watch. Well I wouldn't say that she's short tempered, she's more stubborn, hahah yeah... that's the word.

The male lead, Kang Tae Bong, is a guy 6 years younger than Dal Ja. In the beginning, there is an air of mystery about him, but as the series progresses, his history is slowly revealed to the viewers(and man this guy is awesome!!). Tae Bong is a super confident character, and he knows how to talk his way into things. At first, Tae Bong doesn't reveal alot about himself but at the end, we all find out that Tae Bong is a very intellectual, honest, clean, warmhearted person.

Dal Ja and Tae Bong first meet when Tae Bong rushes through the streets, being chased by people(this sorta sets of the wrong impression about him). Tae Bong runs into Dal Ja, her handphone breaks somehow because of him, and she demands for compensation for it, but being in a hurry, Tae Bong rushes off. Dal Ja chases him into an alley, but she makes alot of noise, so Tae Bong pulls her into a corner and tells her to quieten down. Doing so, he also advertise himself, being a freelance boyfriend(hahhahah) and gives her his card, telling her to contact him if she wants her compensation, or if she wants to hire him.
Later that night(I think it was on Christmas eve or something), she accidentally meets her boyfriend Shin Sae Do, with another woman, and not wanting to be embarrased, she calls up Kang Tae Bong to pretend to be her boyfriend for awhile.
Dal Ja gets sort of drunk, waiting for Tae Bong to arrive, and after he does show his face, Dal Ja accidentally hires him for a month, giving him a lofty sum of $3000.

So yeah, thats what happens in the first episode. Now that I think of it, the final episode that I just watched is so far from what I imagined it to be when watching the first episode, and I can't believe that the way the series ended had originally started that way.

-spoiler alert, next few sentences- will really ruin the story for you if you wanna watch.
For one, the contract is demolised after the first few episodes.
The second thing that makes it totally different is how different Tae Bong is in the first episode and the last. As the series goes on, the character of Kang Tae Bong is given so much depth, and really, he is not what he seems at all from when you wach episode 1.
The third thing is that Shin Sae Do and his lover Wee Seon Joo become Dal Ja's really good friends, that it's hard to imagine Sae Do ever being in a realtionship with her, and Seon Joo ever being her rival.
Well there are many things that are really different when I think about it.
-SUPER SPOILER!!!- really, don't read this if you're even considering watching this
In fact (okay I can't hold this in any longer) Kang Tae Bong is a lawyer. Wahahhaha.
That might seem impossible to you if you haven't watched any of it or if you have only watched the first few episodes, but what seems impossible now might seem like a perfectly good reality to you after watching many episodes.
-end of spolier-

There is also another guy in the drama besides Tae Bong and Sae Do. At first, his existence is quite important in the drama, but as the drama goes on, he becomes less of a main character, and can imagine myself excluding him when I explain about the drama. He's supposed to be Mr. Eom Ki Joong, the 'perfect' guy, and he's interested in Dalja. Hahahha.
Well as you watch more, you realize how much of a freak he actually is, wakakkakakk.
But this guy is really hilarious. So, sure, the is a big guy in the company, has dashing looks(according to Dalja), has a secure and well paying job... but he reads manhwa's(korean comics for girls) for dating advice, and scrubs his bathtub while listening to meditation tapes for stress relief. On top of that, he has a wife. Well an ex-wife(later) Hahahha. A totally psychotic one. :P

But this series is so fun that you can hardly hate the characters. :D. It's great, it's a must see... wakakkakak.
I would have thought that the last 2 episodes could have been greatly improved but it's okay. Overall, it's still pretty good.

Hahahha.
I can't remember why I started watching this.
I know that it wasn't because of Chae Rim or Lee Min Ki that I started watching this, but I just did.
I just remember very briefly reading about this series when I was looking for a good series about 2 months ago, and last week, before I knew how, I just started watching it.
It's really different from what I expected it to be though.

I don't know why this series didn't appear as a series that people reccomend alot, but seriously, if you're a drama go-er, this series is something you have to try.
I understand that it doesn't fit many people's style.
It is only comparable to the series "My Name is Kim Sam Soon", in the way that the guy is younger than the girl, but actually it's totally different. MNIKSS only crossed my mind during the first episode but after that, I found it really different. Hahhaha. For MNIKSS, it's either you like it or you don't. I've seen MNIKSS myself and I can understand why there are many people who like it or hate it, but as for DJ's Spring, I think it is something quite enjoyable.
The character doesn't come off as strong as the one in MNIKSS, and in alot of aspects that's actually a good thing.

Well anyways yeah... hahha. Overall, DJS is a good series :D 9.3 out of 10 thumbs up XP
I think I want to rewatch it in December. Hahaha.
Even if I rarely like to rewatch things I think I might watch this again in December.
It's gonna take a while though until this drama stops haunting my thoughts.
Probably about 3-4 days, since I have school, maybe 2 days? Hahahha.
