And wow, it's already been another week. Hahah so that just prooves, time takes you from one place to another, second to second, minute to minute, year to year, without you even realizing.
Anyways, I'm supposed to be super happy today, but for some reason I just don't feel that way. The way things are now can't ever compare to the way things used to be, when I was totally 'plastered'(I don't mean that I was really plastered but you know) for that period of time. Just a word of advice to everyone who sort of has been REALLY ECSTATIC recently; enjoy the days because they can't last forever, so savour every second of it.
Okay, anyways, yeah basically just enjoy things when they're good because you'll miss those times when they're gone.
Hahahaha. Today, a few of us got lost at school. It was really weird because getting lost in our flea-sized school is almost impossible, but we made the impossible possible. Wkwkwkwkkw, we were supposed to do the NAPHA-which I hate btw, mainly because of the 'run 2.4 km in 18 minutes thing'- inverted pull up thing. Our P.E. teacher brought the class out of the gym to do them but then, like half of our class, mainly girls (plus Oliver) sort of got lost because we didn't know where the pull up facility was. We went around our pea sized school for at least 10 minutes(at least it felt like 10 minutes or so), but at last, Vania remembered something or whatever it is, anyways we found where the rest of the class were. Hahahaha.
Well that's about todays P.E..
Last week we had to actually run the 2.4 km. I pretty much suck at running long distances, but anyways for the 2.4 just 2 people passed last week; Jonathan and Hyewon, while this week, Min Ji passed. I know that my stamina has never been good, but seriously, something as torturous as the 2.4? Wahahahhahahaaaaa. BTW, that's 36 laps around our gym X|.
Speaking of sports... I sort of miss basketball. Sure, I play volleyball now, and I'm glad I got a chance to learn it, though, I really do miss basketball. All those years playing basketball seems like a distant memory now, hahahha. I guess it's that awesome feeling I really miss when I'm out there playing a game. It's the adrenaline pumping through the body, keeping your eyes peeled for defence, the surges of energy, the great feeling you get when you dribble the ball, and the even greater feeling you get when you score.
I remember hating basketball practice when I was in primary school. Yes, I played basketball since I was in the 5th grade. Come to think of it, I remember the first few practices I ever joined that I quite enjoyed. I don't know how I came to even be on the team because I before that, I had never played basketball-at that timem it was soccer :P-. The first thing I ever learned was to do a lay up. My coach, told me that if there is one thing that differenciates a basket ball player and some random person playing basketball, it's a lay up. I was confused at first, but once you know how to do a lay up, it feels so awesome :P For a few microseconds you're actually flying close to the ring, and you just pop the ball in. Hahha. Anyways I only hated the Wednesday-stamina-strength training days in the 6th grade. We had to carry people and stuff. Hahahah.
Now I'm seriously considering re-joining the team. But should I??? Hah-di Haaaa.
The real question I want to ask myself is "Is the practice worth the game?".
Anyways what I want to do is to polish my volleyball skills because they currently suck. I want to play volleyball well :P Plus, it's pretty fun in it's own way, and mind you, even if volley doesn't require much running here and there, volley can be tiring because your whole body has to work. It's an awesome game though.
Or should I join a soccer team??? :P Before Volley was basket and before that, I used to be interested in soccer. I really suck at soccer now, but when I was in the 1st grade to 4th grade, I really liked it. I even joined this thing called the Carribean Soccer Academy and there was this coach guy from the Carribean. Anyways, i guess that was just for fun. My soccer shoes are too small for me anyways, so there's no way I'd get back to that sport. Hahaha.
Oneday, if I get the chance, I would like to learn hockey or softball properly. I'm sure they're fun, I've tried them both before, but sort of fake versions of them. Hahaha. I also used to play this thing in grade 6, every lunch time, I guess it was similar to football, where you body slam people but it's sort of different. Hahaha.
Speaking of 6th grade games, there were loadssssssssss.... and I miss them all. There was Capture the flag, hahaha awesomeeee! Now at RICS, there is no such thing. Argggghhhh. Hahahha that's definitely one thing I miss about Cibun.
