CHRISTMAS IS COMINNNGGGGGG AAAAHHHHHHHHH <3
it's definietly the best holiday of the year!!
-more about our schools way of celebrating christmas in a bit; After I tell you a bit about my current obsession XD
I'm currently having this obsession with Green Day. Hahahah but the problem is that i don't have their new album but I really want it, and yeah.
So last 2 weeks, I downloaded 'Last Night On Earth' from GD's new album '21st Century Breakdown'(which isn't quite so new anymore, then I started to listen to all their old songs, and now, I'm currently obsessed. I can't help it, they're so good. I even figured out the meaning of their rock opera album 'American Idiot'. Arrrghhh. And I love 'Nimrod'. It's so awesome! Green Day may be old, but they still rock my world! I need their new albummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Anyway, today in particular, I'm obsessed with their song 'Whatsername'. It's so good, that i'm going to post the lyrics here.
And so here they are;
WHATSERNAME
Thought I ran into you down on the street
Then it turned out to only be a dream
I made a point to burn all of the photographs
She went away and then I took a different path
I remember the face but I can't recall the name
Now I wonder how whatsername has been
Seems that she disappeared without a trace
Did she ever marry old what's his face?
I made a point to burn all of the photographs
She went away and then I took a different path
I remember the face but I can't recall the name
Now I wonder how whatsername has been
Remember, whatever
It seems like forever ago
Remember, whatever
It seems like forever ago
The regrets are useless
In my mind
She's in my head
I must confess
The regrets are useless
In my mind
She's in my head
From so long ago
And in the darkest night
If my memory serves me right
I'll never turn back time
Forgetting you, but not the time.
----------------------------------------------------
Whatsername is the 13th track of American Idiot. It's like the last chapter of the rock opera, so if you don't really get it, it's okay. It doesn't hold much meaning to the story without the rest of the album, however, to me, it holds a slightly more personal meaning.
What makes this song really great is it's lyrics, music, everything. Except that it's really hard ot sing because it's so low!! It's practically a work or ART!!!!
I love the song. The rest of the album is great too!!
My favourites from the album include; St.Jimmy, Give Me Novacaine, She's A Rebel, Letterbomb, Homecoming, and of course, Whatsername.
Thats like half of the album. The rest are awesome too, but the ones mentioned above are the best of the lot.
In fact, the whole album is a piece of literature which tells us a story, and would be incomplete if any of the songs weren't there.
I won't say what I THINK the story is because you'll have to figure it out yourself.
I know that some people only listen to the music, but if you pay attention to the lyrics too, you'll find a whole other dimension to the album. The music is great though, trust me.
TRE COOL is SO AWESOME! SO IS BILLIE JOE! AND OF COURSE MIKE DIRRRNNNNNTTTTTTT!!
Hahaha, whatever.
Now, about school. Just a quick update thingy.
So today, we had this Christmas celebration thing where we were all supposed to perform the 12 days of Chrstmas(with modified lyrics XD hahah) but we didn't end up performing it because of this misunderstanding we had about the time slots. Anyway, I was half relieved, half upset because I knew it would have been great to perform for the very last time with Minji, before she goes home to Korea to pursue her talent in entertainment(I'm kidding btw, but I sincerely think she will make it) :P. so we didn't perform, and instead stayed in the class talking about horror movies, scary stories, death, and more death. Some of which were true accounts.
How did we start talking about horror? We had just heard that our performance was canceled so we just sat around in class doing nothing when Monique picked up the guitar and started singing 'Santa Baby'(Monique has a GREAT VOICE!!!!). Anyways Ella got all scared because she recognized the tune from P2. At first I didn't see any sense in why she was freaked out but then Ella started singing the tune really slowly and I realized that it really did sound creepy.
Then we talked about 'Santa Clause is Coming To Town' and how freaky that song is. Hahaha. So from there, we went into horror. We even re-enacted the killer Santa scene, where MinJi was sitting on a chair singing, with Jessica coming out behind her as 'Santa'. Hahhaha.
Anyway yeah. The rest of the day was pretty boring. We watched futsal matches for the RICS cup games. Then at about 3.00, we returned to class to exchange gifts.
I gave jusuf my gift, then got my gift, which turned out to be from Oliver.
Then we gave MinJi our card thingy and our goodbyes, shed a few tears...
Hahahha it was sad :(
But at the end we did perform, but in front of Ms. Janet and Mr. Liu Bin. Hahhaa.
Anyway I hope I don't get bored during the holidays. Thanks to Oliver, who gave me a book, and Jessica who lent me 'Twenties Girl!!' I won't be as bored. :D I'm so going to read really slowly this holiday to make sure I don't finish the books to quickly. XD.
MINJI 민지!!! I'M GONNA MISS YOU
YOU TOO WAYNE JANG WOO SEOK 장 우석!!!
(sorry if my Korean sucks :( -still trying to learn the alphabet)
Hahahah oh yeah... Wayne is going too :(
Bye2 towel boy :(

Brothers On a Hotel Bed
Only the best song ever by Death Cab For Cutie. Well one of them, I can't help it; cause Death Cab is so good!!! XD
Basically I like everything about this song, it's lyrics, it's meaning, it's tune, even the feel you get with the song. Even my mom says that the tune gives her nostalgia...
Hahah. Anyhow, you might or might not like this song, I mean everyone has different tastes right? Anyways I like this song, and I thought that I'd just do a really quick post and share it on my blog :D
Oh and I know it's a bit weird, not posting for so long and suddenly posting out of the blue about a song called 'Brothers On a Hotel Bed'.
The truth is that I didn't write because I didn't feel like I had anything to write. It has been a very emotional month for everyone, I think, and sometimes, things are better left unsaid.
Ok, so back to the song. Here are the lyrics; see if you can decipher it's meaning ;)
Well I don't exactly know what they mean either, but I have a pretty good idea. Wkkwkkwkwkw.
So here they are:
"Brothers On A Hotel Bed"
You may tire of me as our December sun is setting because I'm not who I used to be
No longer easy on the eyes but these wrinkles masterfully disguise
The youthful boy below who turned your way and saw
Something he was not looking for: both a beginning and an end
But now he lives inside someone he does not recognize
When he catches his reflection on accident
On the back of a motor bike
With your arms outstretched trying to take flight
Leaving everything behind
But even at our swiftest speed we couldn't break from the concrete
In the city where we still reside.
And I have learned that even landlocked lovers yearn for the sea like navy men
Cause now we say goodnight from our own separate sides
Like brothers on a hotel bed
Like brothers on a hotel bed
Like brothers on a hotel bed
Like brothers on a hotel bed
It really says alot even though the lyrics are very few. I love this song and I hope that you can find the same joy from this song that I have discovered.
I'll post more songs oneday....
OH and Happy Birthday Peter!!

tales of sports & games.
And wow, it's already been another week. Hahah so that just prooves, time takes you from one place to another, second to second, minute to minute, year to year, without you even realizing.
Anyways, I'm supposed to be super happy today, but for some reason I just don't feel that way. The way things are now can't ever compare to the way things used to be, when I was totally 'plastered'(I don't mean that I was really plastered but you know) for that period of time. Just a word of advice to everyone who sort of has been REALLY ECSTATIC recently; enjoy the days because they can't last forever, so savour every second of it.
Okay, anyways, yeah basically just enjoy things when they're good because you'll miss those times when they're gone.
Hahahaha. Today, a few of us got lost at school. It was really weird because getting lost in our flea-sized school is almost impossible, but we made the impossible possible. Wkwkwkwkkw, we were supposed to do the NAPHA-which I hate btw, mainly because of the 'run 2.4 km in 18 minutes thing'- inverted pull up thing. Our P.E. teacher brought the class out of the gym to do them but then, like half of our class, mainly girls (plus Oliver) sort of got lost because we didn't know where the pull up facility was. We went around our pea sized school for at least 10 minutes(at least it felt like 10 minutes or so), but at last, Vania remembered something or whatever it is, anyways we found where the rest of the class were. Hahahaha.
Well that's about todays P.E..
Last week we had to actually run the 2.4 km. I pretty much suck at running long distances, but anyways for the 2.4 just 2 people passed last week; Jonathan and Hyewon, while this week, Min Ji passed. I know that my stamina has never been good, but seriously, something as torturous as the 2.4? Wahahahhahahaaaaa. BTW, that's 36 laps around our gym X|.
Speaking of sports... I sort of miss basketball. Sure, I play volleyball now, and I'm glad I got a chance to learn it, though, I really do miss basketball. All those years playing basketball seems like a distant memory now, hahahha. I guess it's that awesome feeling I really miss when I'm out there playing a game. It's the adrenaline pumping through the body, keeping your eyes peeled for defence, the surges of energy, the great feeling you get when you dribble the ball, and the even greater feeling you get when you score.
I remember hating basketball practice when I was in primary school. Yes, I played basketball since I was in the 5th grade. Come to think of it, I remember the first few practices I ever joined that I quite enjoyed. I don't know how I came to even be on the team because I before that, I had never played basketball-at that timem it was soccer :P-. The first thing I ever learned was to do a lay up. My coach, told me that if there is one thing that differenciates a basket ball player and some random person playing basketball, it's a lay up. I was confused at first, but once you know how to do a lay up, it feels so awesome :P For a few microseconds you're actually flying close to the ring, and you just pop the ball in. Hahha. Anyways I only hated the Wednesday-stamina-strength training days in the 6th grade. We had to carry people and stuff. Hahahah.
Now I'm seriously considering re-joining the team. But should I??? Hah-di Haaaa.
The real question I want to ask myself is "Is the practice worth the game?".
Anyways what I want to do is to polish my volleyball skills because they currently suck. I want to play volleyball well :P Plus, it's pretty fun in it's own way, and mind you, even if volley doesn't require much running here and there, volley can be tiring because your whole body has to work. It's an awesome game though.
Or should I join a soccer team??? :P Before Volley was basket and before that, I used to be interested in soccer. I really suck at soccer now, but when I was in the 1st grade to 4th grade, I really liked it. I even joined this thing called the Carribean Soccer Academy and there was this coach guy from the Carribean. Anyways, i guess that was just for fun. My soccer shoes are too small for me anyways, so there's no way I'd get back to that sport. Hahaha.
Oneday, if I get the chance, I would like to learn hockey or softball properly. I'm sure they're fun, I've tried them both before, but sort of fake versions of them. Hahaha. I also used to play this thing in grade 6, every lunch time, I guess it was similar to football, where you body slam people but it's sort of different. Hahaha.
Speaking of 6th grade games, there were loadssssssssss.... and I miss them all. There was Capture the flag, hahaha awesomeeee! Now at RICS, there is no such thing. Argggghhhh. Hahahha that's definitely one thing I miss about Cibun.

back on-line
So I haven't blogged for over a month now, and so many new things have happened since. Hahaha. -Actually not that many, I was exaggerating- Anyway, I would usually go blogging during the holidays but this holiday, my internet was pretty much dead(Come to think of it, my wireless is still dead, but I'm using this other modem thing). It's sort of a good thing that my internet died right before the term exam, so I could actually concentrate more, but it sucks that my internet wasn't on even after getting the results, infact, I just got the modem thing to work on my laptop-apparently it wasn't compatible with vista- yesterday, and so, here's the result of sheltering myself from the internet for more than two weeks; a testimony of my time without the internet, which actually wasn't so bad.
So what did I do?
I studied, I did the exams, I got my results.
I got braces.
I watched a documentary on the adam air crash(and I'm not surprised at all that they aren't operating anymore),
I watched a documentary on volcanoes,
I watched "How Do They Do It" and found out how people make jeans and champagne glasses.
I finished one page of the A-Math exam I have to re-do.
I read three books, two of which were written by 'Sophie Kinsella', and the other one written by 'Madeleine Wickham'. I found out that Sophie Kinsella and Madeleine Wickham are one and the same person(I knew this but I always thought Sophie Kinsella was the name of the person who existed, but infact Sophie Kinsella is the pseudonym for Madeleine Wickham).
And, of course, I got a chance to catch up on many of the movies that I haven't seen.
Oh, and I tried watching 'Fullmetal Alchemist', after hearing many people say how good it is. I think I like it(the dvd goes heywire after the 7th episode)haha.
So talk about a few of the things I did:
No need to explain the first one, hahha.
And did get braces... GREEN. :D Hahah. I was actually thinking of choosing pink but then, you know I didn't actually get around to choosing it. Although when I first had them, I thought they looked blue, but as days passed, they turn to look more and more green(is that a chemical reaction, or just my eyes adjusting to them?). The first few days, the whole set of my teeth hurt-trust me, you don't know the pain unless you've had braces-, but at the end, it was okay. A few ulcers here and there is a small price for better teeth, plus I'm having the braces on for no more than a year.
The documentary about the Adam Air crash(you know, the one where the plane mysteriously disappears)was from Nat Geo's 'Air Crash Investigation'. I won't explain much, it's such a disgrace, haha. It turns out that the navigation system was broken and the pilots went off-course, then basically the pilots did some foolish things and the plane went hurling down and broke apart before hitting the water. Then investigators found out that the pilots weren't even trained properly in Indonesia, and the EU banned any Indonesian planes from flying on their territory, until recently, the ban was released.
Then I watched other documentaries...
I also read 3 books. 2 of which were from Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholice series, and one of the Madleine Wickham one. They're definetely different, even if they were written by the same person. I guess the big difference is the way it's written. The Sophie Kinsella ones are written from the main characters point of view, and are funny and light. The Madeleine Wickham ones are for an older audience and are... just different. If you're going for something funny, read the Sophie Kinsella ones, though both of them are entertaining.
As to name a few of the movies I watched during this holiday (They're mostly old movies which missed)
Pink Panther 2; Not that great, actually, not great at all. It's a sequel with pretty much the same story as it's prequel, leaving the story with no originality.
Shinjuku Incident; It's this story about Illegal Chinese immigrants in Japan making it in the Japanese underworld during the 1990s. Quite graphic, but if you can't follow a slow story don't about history, don't watch it.
17 Again; Hahahha. It turns out that 17 Again wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. In fact, it's pretty okay, it's enjoyable. It's light. Ok, maybe I just like that one scene when Zac Efron walks out of his car, but still, overall, the movie is not bad. I mean for a person who doesn't like HSM, this one was actually good.
Confessions of a Shopaholic; This one's not bad either, but it's not really how I imagined it to be after reading the book. for one, it's set in New York instead of London. Second, The character Rebecca Bloomwood is a totally different person in the movie and the book, not only by her looks but I also imagined her style to be different, as well as her personality. As for Luke Brandon, I imagined him to be better dressed, look taller and look more groomed. But oh well, if the movie were a story on it's own, it would a good one.
Marley & Me; Not as funny as I thought it would be. In fact, it's a serious movie. I'm not really a dog-lover anyways so this movie didn't really speak to me.It sort of failed to reach me emotionally. I didn't even feel sad when Marley died.
What Goes Up; This is a really messed up movie. I don't even think the production is good. Anywyas about the story, it's complicated. But the thing is I didn't really finish the movie, my DVD stopped 5 minutes short of the end, but from what I watched, it isn't a great movie.
PS I Love You; Yes, I know I'm late in watching this, but at least I watched it. I don't regret watching this at all actually. It's awesome. A little on the slow side, but hey, that's the typical pace for these type of movies right? Now this is an example of a movie which emotionally spoke to me. It's nice. Even if we only got one scene to get to know who 'Gerry' is when he was alive, you feel like you've known him throughout. It's a story which makes you value what you've got.
Doubt; Interesting. It tells alot about how people's mind works. A little slow, but This movie is not really a story, it revolves around a little sketch taken out of someone's life. A small passing incident. But still, if you've got 2 hours, watch it. It's set in a 1964 Church School called St. Nicholas. It's about a priest, Father Flynn who wants to change the school's strict ways, much to the opposition of the school's principal, Sister Aloysius(played by Meryl Streep), who still believes in the power of fear and discipline. Then, a young innocent nun, Sister James, starts to share her suspicions about Father Flynn with Sister Aloysius, who ceases to rest until her suspicions are confirmed. The Actors are great. The movie is very well played.
Well those were just a few movies I watched.
I also watched this anime called 'Fullmetal Alchemist', but I'm too lazy to write anything about it. Just research about it on your own if you're interested. It's worth watching. So far, I've finished the first 7 episodes. Believe me, I wanted to watch more but the DVD didn't function.... lalalaaaa... I wonder why :P
I want to watch this K-Drama called STYLE. It sounds pretty good, but it's still on going. My friend Katie said it was good, but I think I'll wait for the drama to end before I start. Once I start, believe me, I can't stop, and it would be dissapointing to have stopped at one episode where O'd have to wait a whole week to watch the next one. Hahaha.
Well that's all then.
So what did I do?
I studied, I did the exams, I got my results.
I got braces.
I watched a documentary on the adam air crash(and I'm not surprised at all that they aren't operating anymore),

Hahaha.
Well that's all then.

the art of procrastination
Okay, so I am supposed to be studying for geography and chemistry, but... yeah.
What I am doing now is called the art of procrastination which is something that is so easy yet so difficult to do hahah.
Anyways I have to wait for my Kaspersky scanning, 8% to go!! Hahha.
In truth, I'm just giving myself an excuse to stay online, when I actually don't need to,
but hey,
when you're desperate for a song and accidentally download a virus, it's only best that you scan thoroughly right?
And just to be sure you delete detected viruses ASAP, you should stay by your computer until it's done scanning right?
Hahahha.
So yeah, that's something which happened to me today. I wanted to download this freaking song which I totally can't find anywhere else, so I accidentally downloaded this other thing which turned out to be virus, and thanks again to Kaspersky, the virus was immediately detected and removed.
I like Kaspersky. Eugene Kaspersky is a genius. Whahhaha.
Oh and I lost my beloved rubbermaid bottle of 4 months T.T
Hahahha. I've become deeply attached to that particular leaking orange bottle. Mostly because many people have identified that orange one as mine already and it's been through so much with me. Hahahha.
I lost it last Friday. I put it in David's cooler and I left it there and it disappeared.
Somehow I knew this was going to happen sooner or later, hahah.
I've never had a rubbermaid bottle for this long anyways, so I was mentally prepared to lose it.
Anyways I've been losing alot of stuff lately, and I know I should be more careful, but on the other hand it's much easier to learn to let go of stuff when you lose other stuff easily.
Yesterday was Indonesia's Independence day.
I actually wrote a post yesterday, but I didn't publish it because I suddenly felt that it was weird.
It included how we're going to be back for another round in the opportunity hall in another 3 weeks or so, and how fast paced life in RICS is compared to Cibun.
At Cibun, you feel like you're going to be there forever. It's just like Peterpan's Neverland. Hahah. But it's not reality.
Because you don't feel time pass you by there, you don't concentrate on anything.
Becasue you don't have exams or a proper grading system there, you don't have any short term goals to fulfill.
Being there is just like drifting aimlessly with the currents. Lost, and totally mesmerized by anything but work. Hahah.
Oh and yesterday, I watched UP. It's a Disney Pixar movie, and I would say that for this one, Pixar has done, yet another time. Haha.
Their movies are always good. Well the only time I was disappointed by them was when they made 'Cars'(was that them?).
Hahaha. But UP was really good. One of the best ever.
It's basically about this person called Carl Fredrickson(I don't know how to spell it), who, since young had always 'worshipped' this explorer called Charles Muntz.
Carl met a girl called Ellie when he was very young. Ellie also wanted to be an explorer, but besides that, she had a dream of going to 'Paradise Falls' and living next to the water fall there. Carl also supported her dream, and even promised to take her there when they grew up.
Ellie and Carl were playmates when they were young, husband and wife when they were older. Many daily events distracted them from their dream, and as time passed by, Ellie and Carl began to age, and age until oneday, Ellie passed away.
Carl was griven, that the love of his life had passed away even before he had fulfilled his promise of taking her to Paradise Falls. After all they had been through together, he wasn't able to make Ellie's one dream come true.
Oneday, "Mr. Fredrickson", who is now an old man, decides to fulfill his wife's dreams, by travelling to Paradise Falls via house. Hahah, and so he does.
Well what I've just explained is only the first 10-15 minutes of the movie. The rest of it is basically his adventure there.
It's a beautiful heartwarming movie, which is a perfect mixture of happiness and sadness.
It was really funny too. One character I found hilarious was Dug, the talking dog. Hahahha.
:) It's a good move to watch alone, or with your family, but I would suggest that if you want to watch it alone, watch it in a cold AC room with dim lights, in front of your laptop or TV all snuggled up in your blankets with food in front of you... Or, If you want to watch it with your family, go to a cinema.
The important thing is to concentrate while watching it, or you wouldn't feel how good it is XP.
Hahhaha.

djs :D (it's a kdrama)
Hahahha. I'm feeling really happy right now because I just finished another drama and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. My eyes are blackened because of it, but I'm smiling like crazy hahhaha. It's strange what dramas do to you.
Oh and this drama is also the reason I haven't posted anything since the 5th of August. Teeehhheeeeee :D :D :D. How long has that been? 11 days?
Hahhaha. Normally I like to finish dramas in 2 or 3 days but for me, that is only can only achievable when the drama spans less than 18 episodes.
This drama was 22 episodes, and of course, I have school, so on weekdays I can only watch 2 episodes, and on weekends I can watch about 5. Hahha.
:D Well the drama I just finished is another Korean one, hahha(Yeah most dramas I watch now are Korean, and FYI Kdrama means Korean Drama).
Hahha, and this one is totally not a crap-drama, unlike some others you might find. Gyahahhahahha. The drama is actually pretty old, I think it's from 2007 or something, and I think it's aimed for viewers who are in the working class, because it's about a girl who is 33 years old, still waiting for love. Hahahha.
Yeah the way I put it sounds a bit cheesy but nooo, it's not.
It's really funny... hahhaha. My favourite dramas to watch are romance-comedies. Even if they mess with your emotions a lot, they mostly leave you smiling.
The name of the drama is Dal Ja's Spring. Hahaha. I love it. I don't know, this one is probably in my top 5 or top 7 at the least. Hahah.
you can watch it on mysoju.com
Like I said, It's about a 33 year old woman who hasn't ever experienced true love. She is doing fine in other aspects of life like work and stuff though. The main characters name is Oh Dal Ja, being 33, she needs to think about getting married.
She is a lovable character, she has a cute bubbly personality, but not so much that it's exaggerated and makes the viewers sick of her. She gets angry easily and it's fun to watch. Well I wouldn't say that she's short tempered, she's more stubborn, hahah yeah... that's the word.
The male lead, Kang Tae Bong, is a guy 6 years younger than Dal Ja. In the beginning, there is an air of mystery about him, but as the series progresses, his history is slowly revealed to the viewers(and man this guy is awesome!!). Tae Bong is a super confident character, and he knows how to talk his way into things. At first, Tae Bong doesn't reveal alot about himself but at the end, we all find out that Tae Bong is a very intellectual, honest, clean, warmhearted person.
Dal Ja and Tae Bong first meet when Tae Bong rushes through the streets, being chased by people(this sorta sets of the wrong impression about him). Tae Bong runs into Dal Ja, her handphone breaks somehow because of him, and she demands for compensation for it, but being in a hurry, Tae Bong rushes off. Dal Ja chases him into an alley, but she makes alot of noise, so Tae Bong pulls her into a corner and tells her to quieten down. Doing so, he also advertise himself, being a freelance boyfriend(hahhahah) and gives her his card, telling her to contact him if she wants her compensation, or if she wants to hire him.
Later that night(I think it was on Christmas eve or something), she accidentally meets her boyfriend Shin Sae Do, with another woman, and not wanting to be embarrased, she calls up Kang Tae Bong to pretend to be her boyfriend for awhile.
Dal Ja gets sort of drunk, waiting for Tae Bong to arrive, and after he does show his face, Dal Ja accidentally hires him for a month, giving him a lofty sum of $3000.
So yeah, thats what happens in the first episode. Now that I think of it, the final episode that I just watched is so far from what I imagined it to be when watching the first episode, and I can't believe that the way the series ended had originally started that way.
-spoiler alert, next few sentences- will really ruin the story for you if you wanna watch.
For one, the contract is demolised after the first few episodes.
The second thing that makes it totally different is how different Tae Bong is in the first episode and the last. As the series goes on, the character of Kang Tae Bong is given so much depth, and really, he is not what he seems at all from when you wach episode 1.
The third thing is that Shin Sae Do and his lover Wee Seon Joo become Dal Ja's really good friends, that it's hard to imagine Sae Do ever being in a realtionship with her, and Seon Joo ever being her rival.
Well there are many things that are really different when I think about it.
-SUPER SPOILER!!!- really, don't read this if you're even considering watching this
In fact (okay I can't hold this in any longer) Kang Tae Bong is a lawyer. Wahahhaha.
That might seem impossible to you if you haven't watched any of it or if you have only watched the first few episodes, but what seems impossible now might seem like a perfectly good reality to you after watching many episodes.
-end of spolier-
There is also another guy in the drama besides Tae Bong and Sae Do. At first, his existence is quite important in the drama, but as the drama goes on, he becomes less of a main character, and can imagine myself excluding him when I explain about the drama. He's supposed to be Mr. Eom Ki Joong, the 'perfect' guy, and he's interested in Dalja. Hahahha.
Well as you watch more, you realize how much of a freak he actually is, wakakkakakk.
But this guy is really hilarious. So, sure, the is a big guy in the company, has dashing looks(according to Dalja), has a secure and well paying job... but he reads manhwa's(korean comics for girls) for dating advice, and scrubs his bathtub while listening to meditation tapes for stress relief. On top of that, he has a wife. Well an ex-wife(later) Hahahha. A totally psychotic one. :P
But this series is so fun that you can hardly hate the characters. :D. It's great, it's a must see... wakakkakak.
I would have thought that the last 2 episodes could have been greatly improved but it's okay. Overall, it's still pretty good.
Hahahha.
I can't remember why I started watching this.
I know that it wasn't because of Chae Rim or Lee Min Ki that I started watching this, but I just did.
I just remember very briefly reading about this series when I was looking for a good series about 2 months ago, and last week, before I knew how, I just started watching it.
It's really different from what I expected it to be though.
I don't know why this series didn't appear as a series that people reccomend alot, but seriously, if you're a drama go-er, this series is something you have to try.
I understand that it doesn't fit many people's style.
It is only comparable to the series "My Name is Kim Sam Soon", in the way that the guy is younger than the girl, but actually it's totally different. MNIKSS only crossed my mind during the first episode but after that, I found it really different. Hahhaha. For MNIKSS, it's either you like it or you don't. I've seen MNIKSS myself and I can understand why there are many people who like it or hate it, but as for DJ's Spring, I think it is something quite enjoyable.
The character doesn't come off as strong as the one in MNIKSS, and in alot of aspects that's actually a good thing.
Well anyways yeah... hahha. Overall, DJS is a good series :D 9.3 out of 10 thumbs up XP
I think I want to rewatch it in December. Hahaha.
Even if I rarely like to rewatch things I think I might watch this again in December.
It's gonna take a while though until this drama stops haunting my thoughts.
Probably about 3-4 days, since I have school, maybe 2 days? Hahahha.

Ok so one year ago i didn't have a blog but still i should have known about this feature. Anyways this is just a trial post and if mobile blogging works for me, i'll be sure to do it more often. Hehe. Haha
It would be really cool too if i was blogging frm europe or something with my phone. Man i should have discovered this in jogja. Haha
And abt the pic, thats my sis reading a book in the car called 'how to win a cosmic war'.(I deleted the picture though, for private reasons)

a mixture of thoughts
Hahaha.
I shouldn't have written the previous post, thanks to David Virtama Batubara...
He opened it at school -_-
I wonder if there is a way to make a blog private so that totally no one could read it unless you follow it.
If it is possible to do that, please tell me how yea...
At this point I am seriously thinking of making an anonymous blog, which I really will, if this sort of thing goes on forever. Hahaha.
If not anonymous, I would write under a pen name.
Yeah... a pen name, that sounds cool :P
I'm not going to tell anyone the address of my anonymous blog and no one would ever be able to find it, and that blog is where I would pour out my hearts content with no hesitation.
None whatsoever. No restrictions. No need to care about people who would be reading it.
All I have to do is replace the intended names with something else.
Hahhaha.
Of course I won't stop writing in this one either. Hahahha.
Well anyways.... yeah, hahha today I feel sort of bad. I can't write why, but I'm incredibly guilty and I can't help but feel I've wronged at least 2 people today.
Hahahha, like I heard in the sharing this morning, I'll ask for forgiveness before I do anything else.
There done... hahhaha. Well not really ask for forgiveness but made ammends with.
:) And along with it goes one for my "'secrets which belong to other people' box" :P
I lost my Sony Ericsson earphones yesterday T.T
Hahaha. I used to almost never use them but since 3 or 4 weeks ago or something, I started using them soo much.
I don't know how I lost them yesterday.
I was at the librabry when I last saw them, they were falling from my jacket pocket so I winded them up nicely and put them back in my pocket.
The next thing I know, 20 minutes later, I'm in my car, looking for my earphones.
It's almost like they ran away from me.
ARGH, and I'm already so PW with those.
When I first got them last year or something, they came with the phone but since I didn't like the ones that would go straingt in your ear, I never really got to use and appreciate them until these 3 weeks.
And the colour matches the phone!! Hahaha. I wonder if i'll ever be able to buy the exact same ones again.
Or maybe I might find them, like really unexpectedly :P
If someone sees my lost, blue, earbud-type, sony ericsson earphones, please be kind enough to return them to me. Hahah.
I've just realized how precious they are to me, now I can't listen without putting 'em on loudspeaker.
Oooo, and by the way, the other day, I was looking through my phone because I wanted delete stuff to make more space, and guess what I found. Hahaha...
I found an oldtime video of one of Peter Chung's first days at school.
The video I have of him singing oh-so-passionately.
Hahhaha, man I miss that dude. I wanna post that video up here but I'm sorta lazy too, plus it's in a different format.
Yeah... The thing is I thought I lost the video last year because of the 'great flood' (I spilled water on my phone and it went all heywire, at the end I had it replaced with the exact same type -_-). Anyways I had a nice surprise last night, finding that video, and I got a good laugh out of it too.
I think I still have that video because I must have saved it in my card memory, and thank God I did that. Hahha.
That made me happy last night. Remembering the little dude whom we called Peter Chung, whose name was actually Peter Jeong, but he was spelling it wrong the whole time(according to CH).
By the way, did Wayne ever get to know PeChung? Or did Chung leave first? Hahah.
I shouldn't have written the previous post, thanks to David Virtama Batubara...

Hahah.

wibi is my new jusuf hahah.
Wibi probably thinks I'm a freak now T.T
Hahhaha. Oh well, Wibi doang sih, but I shouldn't have said HI so many times.
Hahhaha, but I can't stop. I'm so gemes with Wibi. Hahah.
I don't like him or anything but seriously, it's become an impulse :D hahah.
And it's not a good thing.
Wibi, if by any chance you acutally see this, and if you're reading it right now, know that I don't annoy you, or freak you out on purpose.
I can't control myself, hahah. I'm sorry.
WIBI IS THE NEW JUSUF wkwkkwkw.
For me, at least. I'm not so gemes with Jusuf anymore. Hahah.
Sorry JO, No one can ever replace you, hahah but seriously, that what I thought before I met Wibi :P hahha.
No i'm kidding, Jusuf will always be Jusuf to me.
Seriously, what is the point of this post? Wow, I'm supposed to be studying physics and Chemistry, instead i find myself writing about Wibiyanto Cahyadi. -_-

july recap & birthdays :)
Hahaha, some might notice that the title of the previous post is the same(or almost) the same as one of my friends recent posts. Hahaha.
Before anything else, I would like to apologize. The truth is, I really didn't see her post until today, so when I worte it I didn't know that the title would be the same, hahah.
Sorry vaaaannn...
Another apology I owe goes to Peter Chung. I remember writing about how his birthday was posted on the Gryphon's board on the first day of school, and writing about how I woudn't forget to mention his birthday on a future post(refer to post for 13th of July:http://dmvhello.blogspot.com/2009/07/1st-day.html), but I forgot. Hahha. I wrote a very short and unimportant post 7 days ago, titled somewhere far, and it was the 26th that day. It was Peter's birthday but I failed to mention it once during the entire post. Haha. Sorry Peter, I'll try again next year :P, hahha if my memory doesn't fail me.
Hahahah, So today, I'm going to write a quick recap about all things that have happened on July, and rate them, just like I did at the end of February and March.
Well actually I didn't rate anything on the one I did on March, but oh well.
I'm actually doing this because of boredom, on thing I reget though, is that this recap is 2 days late and should actually be for the 31st of July, so oh well though.
In addition to a recap I will also write about things that will happen in August ;) so it wouldn't seem like a late post. Hahah.
I'll start with this:
1. 13th July: First day of school. **
To me, this wasn't one of my greatest days. It felt so normal and weird, and not to mention totally boring hours and hours in the MPH. The plus side about the 13th was that I got to know a new friend, and we didn't get to study, so yeah. :D
2. 14/07: Blog Makeover **
I'm starting to get sick of the new colour, the new title etc. Surreeee at first, I was all like "great, my blog is green now" but then I'm beginning to wonder if it's supposed to look as weird as it seems to me right now. Hahahha. The good thing though, is that because I have a green blog, I also get eye therapy from it. Hahah. But since I'm not too sure if green is really the eye theraphy colour, I'm not going to give it a really high rating.
3. 27/07: First P.E **
The first P.E since what seems like forever. Sureee, it sucked, but hey, excercise is gooooodddd.
4. 28/07: 'read below' ****
So yeah the 28th was my friend, Jessica's (not JM) birthday. it was also her second day or something, starting of her new school at SPH, and I'm glad she enjoyed it. Unfortunately this has nothing to do with me, and it isn't what I rated as 4 stars. Hhahah. I'm waaaayyy too nice to not put the title of this, number 4. Hahah.
What happened on this day is a certain someone, said himself that he is now officially gay. Well it isn't actually true, but he just said that because that's how how he feels after being in the school for about 3 weeks, and hanging out with girls alot during this time. Hahah. This is good because he no longer has to be in denial, hahha. He said it himself right? Plus, we had a good laugh so yeah, the only thing bad I can see coming out of this is that, after a long time, he might actually find himself having feelings for guys, hahahah, or being made fun of at school even though he isn't really gay.
5. 30/07: First CCA ****
Hahhaha. The story is that i actually wanted to skip this but I didn't even if I got full permission to do so(read post for 31st July: http://dmvhello.blogspot.com/2009/07/girls-are-boys-are.html). CCA was pretty fun, ahhaha. I enjoyed it. Anyways, besides that, it was a fun day overall too. The bad part is that I slept late that night, and didn't even finish my hw, and I lost 50.000 that day. Hahhaha. I guess it's the price I pay for lying. Wakakkaka.
I know, nothing that great happened this July, and for some reason, I just realized that after writing this post. Oh well. Hahahha. I hope I have a better August :)))))))))))

Hahah. It's strange...

girls are, boys are
I didn't have any time to write anything that I wanted to yesterday, except for that thing abt the promotion. Wakkakaka.
Well, then I'll do another today+yesterday post, because I actually had some things I wanted to say yesterday but I didn't get the chance to. Hahaha.
Wait, first, I really miss my friend, you see, I have this friend and we haven't talked for like weeks. Well we did, today, but it wasn't like before, hahah. Man I miss it alot... :P
Hahahha. Sorry, I acted on impulse, I just saw this thing online which made me miss old times, so I had to write that. Wakakakaka.
Ummm, okayyyyy.... hahhaah.
So anywaaaaayyyssss, about yesterday, I didn't have any time to write mainly because I had a truckload of work and stuff to do, which I crammed to finish and didn't even get to do some because I came home late.
Ultimately I slept at 12.30 AM this morning, and hardly got 5 hours of sleep.
I woke up with an aching body... all because I got home late.
And guess why I came home late? Huahuahuah, I had my CCA yesterday... volleyball.
I was so close to escaping volleyball yesterday though, hahha, but being a 'good' student, I don't skip, or do anything stupid. Buakkakakkakakk.
Yeah, So, I'll explain properly.
Yesterday I was really sick of school after sitting in for physics. We had a lot of hw, more than usual so I thought that I'd rather just go home and not play volleyball. Hhahhaa..
So that idea actually came from the seed of pure laziness, and it turned into an action, and miraculously, I actually got permission to skip CCA. Wahahaha.
I told Mr.Ibnu, that I had alot to do so he let me go, but for some reason after that, I felt like playing.
Hhahahahah. How retarded. So I joined.
The coach was this guy called Pak Imam something.
He's nice but slightly biased.
Anyways, it was more tiring than I thought, hahhahah, and it hurts.
Ok enough about volley. I'm glad I didn't miss it though. It was actually fun.
:D
So yesterday, I lost 50.000.
If found, pls return to me. It's folded and not a new note.
I think I dropped it in the canteen or toilet. Hahhaha.
We did something interesting yesterday.
Hahhaha. The day before, Ms. Dorothy Joy Cartagena asked us to read this article frm the internet, frm the times magazine.
It's about the difference between girls and boys in making and keeping relationships. I don't know, something like that.
Then the next day(which was yesterday), she did this activity for us, where the board was divided into 2 parts.
The boys would have to complete the sentence "Girls are..." and the girls would have to complete the sentence "Boys are...".
It was interesting to see what we wrote abt each other. Some were true, others were not, but nonetheless, that's what they think abt us, and now we know.
As for today, i'm so glad it's the end of the week.
This has probably been one of the most punishing weeks ever for me. Hahhha.
Well, it's okay I guess.
Hhahah. Wait, I actually wanted to write abt something, but I forgot what it was...
Anyways, I'm suddenly happy :D hahahhahahahhaha :D infact, as I'm writing this, I'm beaming, and since I'm so happy I don't even care that I forgot what I was gonna write. Hahahha.
Goodnight :D

promotion!! hahhaha
Okkk, I only have time for a super quick post, but it's important(i guess). I actually have stuff to write abt today hahha, but I have too many things to do, and only found time to write this because coincidentally, I had to open an article online too, so I thought, might as well write something quick...Hhaha.
I have more stuff to write abt my daily life but I'm writing this because someone asked me to promote something for her, so I'm doing it, by posting it up here, hahah though, I doubt it's not much of a promotion.
Btw, you might have seen this on youtube, or on facebook... it's great...
hahaha.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByZl7oHSO-U
If you're wondering what videos these are, they are videos of a rising star :P. Hhahaha. It's singing, young talent. Wakakkaka. The ppl in these videos are RICS students btw.
The first link is their own song in Indonesian called 'Kamu' and the second one is a cover of Michael Buble's Everything.
Personally, I like the first one very much :)
It's great, jazzy, and gives you that awesome feeling.
My only regret, though, is that these cannot be downloaded(i think).
Ask Meidi for more info. Wkakakak, btw, she's the one who asked my to promote these.
The singer(left side) is Meidi, the one playing the guitar(right side) is Demas.
Meidi's singing is awesome right?
Hahhaha. She'll get signed oneday.
I'm gonna write more stuff abt today tomorrow. Because... yeah. Hhaha.

today + yesterday
Yesterday, I didn't go online. Hahahha. It's the first time in ages I didn't go online for the entire day. Wakakkaka.
Anyways, There is a reason for that. Yesterday, I had too many things to do and my whole body was aching(I'll get to that later). Hahahhaha.
Since I wasn't online yesterday, I didn't get to blog what I really wanted to, so I'm doing what I should have yesterday, and doing what I'm supposed to do today, which is write!
:D Hahahha.
I'll write in points.
1. Well, first of, I'll start with this; yesterday we had P.E. yeah... P.E... and since I havent' excercised in a long time, it was good, but at the same time, it sucked, if you know what I mean. Hahhaha. It isn't half as bad as basketball practice though wakakkaka. We just had to run for 7 minutes, no stopping allowed, do the retarded ABC runs, do suicide once and then we're done with the warm up. It's only the warm up that usually hurts. Hahhaha. After that we learned how to do an underpass in volleyball, hahha but now, I sorta regret choosing volley as my CCA. I didn't realize that it's actually tiring. This year, I was trying to avoid any tiring CCA's. Well damn... hahha. I wonder if I can change CCA now. Hahhaha. Well it'll be good to learn something new right? Hahhaha.
2. I did not originally intend to write about this because I sorta forgot about it..., but I saw Jamie Oliver on TV yesterday, so it kinda reminded me of my English class. It doesn't directly have anything to do with Jamie Oliver, but like before, we had to make a story according to a picture in our textbook, and yeah. This time, sadly I wasn't grouped with David, hahahha, David, Jote, and I are were like the group who were always stuck together, well until last week or something. Hahhaa. This time, it was just Me, Jote, Vania, and Ben.
Well, I sorta missed David's prescence, and imagination, but this time, hahah our story was none other than retarded again. Like last time, we included Michael Jackson. It's really weird. I think it's sorta getting a bit cliche by now, hahah, but everyday, Jonathan, just has to say something about Michael Jackson, and we always end up writing about him.
We were given a picture of the Live Aid concert. I noticed some people climbing onto the stage, so we started with the sentence;
Although a blizzard occured, the angry mob, continued to attack the performers.
Or something like that. Anyways, our story is incredibly fast-paced, and basically, many of the 'mobsters' died because of being electrocuted(well thats what you get for attacking people with electric guitars right?), then instead of using all the Live Aid, charity concert money, the people had to pay for all the dead people's graves. Then yeah. After that, the Michael Jackson part comes in and the same old routine... someone else commits suicide.
Well for some reason that's always the format.
as for today...
Well actually nothing interesting happened. Not really anyways.
1. Hahahha, we had English today, and we played taboo. Interesting game. Pretty fun, hahha.
2. Yeah! We played a game during our Chinese lesson. Hahhaha. It was actually quite fun, better than studying anyway. Hahhaha. It's actually not really a game, it's more like a test. So yeah, we have to partner up(chosen by Mr.LiuBin), and then one partner has to write what Mr.LiuBin says, on the board and the other one corrects it. We have to write the chinese character, pinyin, and meaning -_-. Hahhaha.
Anyway it was better than studying, and, hahahha the winner is supposed to get 5 extra coursework marks :P. We're gonna have this sorta test every week now hahha. It sucks, but oh well. Hahahh.
BTW, my partner was Monique(who is Chinese), so we won :P hahhahah. Thanksies Monique :))) Hahhaha.
3. Hahahha Oliver is now officially 'gay'(jk). He said so himself :P Wakakka. Well thats what you get for hanging out with girls all the time. Hahahhah.
Anyways, There is a reason for that. Yesterday, I had too many things to do and my whole body was aching(I'll get to that later). Hahahhaha.

Hahahhah.

somewhere far
Aaaahhh tomorrow is Monday. We have P.E. tomorrow and even if it's not with Mr.Max anymore, I'm still super lazy to exercise. I haven't had P.E. in like 2 months or something. Hahhaa.
I'm even more lazy to awaken early in the morning, sleep-deprived.
I'm lazy to do whatever homework I will have for tomorrow.
I'm also lazy to go to school itself. Wakkakaka, there are so many things I don't want to face in there. But of course, running away from stuff you don't want to face is not healthy... haha.
But seriously, I want to go somewhere faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr away for a looooonnngggggg holiday and forget all about everything here, hahah, it's only been like 2 weeks of school, and already, I'm sick of it :P

foggy windows :)
Aaaahhh hahahha I'm feeling really full. The last time I put anything in my mouth was probably a few minutes less than 2pm today.
I was at Social House today for lunch. Hahaha the food there is really good, but what makes it great is the ambiance.
For those who don't know; Social House is this 3rd floor restaurant at Harvey Nichols, Grand Indonesia. It's a really cool place and it has giant, floor-to-ceiling windows that stretch over the main street outside. The restaurant is both high enough to view the skyline and low enough to look at the passing cars with ease through the window. It's actually really relaxing to sit by the window on one of the giant couches.
So it was raining really hard today when I was having my lunch, with my fam, of course. The windows, were closed because of the rain, but I didn't mind, because, .... it was raining.
Hahha. I don't know why, but one of the strangest things about me is that I love the rain(read my post dated the 22nd of July). Okay, my point is, it was really really pretty.
The rain caused the giant windows to fog up, you could view the skyscrapers from inside and see the grey clouds. It was dark outside, the dim yellow glow of the bulbs matched the ambiance perfectly. Inside, it was cozy, even if it wasn't warm, and the loud relaxing music playing inside was no match, in terms of volume, against the even louder pitter-patter of the rain.
It was perfect.
At first, before ordering food, it wasn't actually raining. I was just dark.
When it started raining really hard, I felt happy. Hahha. I felt like I was overseas, looking over the skyline, from the view our table offered.
You could see the grey clouds stretch across the vast sky.
My mum even said that the fog reminded her of snow. Wakakkaa.
It was raining for an hour(?) or so... I think. And It was awesomeeeee :D
Huahauhauhaua.
After lunch, my family and I were walking around Grand Indonesia. That place is hugeeee. Hahhaha we walked from the East to the West Mall. It's definitely more than half a kilometres walk, keeping in mind that in the mall you walk back and forth, up and down, around and around, so at the end, the distance definitely adds up. Hahahah.
When we reached the West Mall, we decided that we just wanted to be picked up right where we were instead of walking back to Harvey Nichols. We called Pak Mairin, our driver to pick us up with the car call system, because we called his handphone several times and it didn't work.
After 10 minutes, he didn't appear at the gate so we just tried and tried to call his phone, but he didn't pick up. For about 30 minutes we waited at the gate.
Time passed and everyone was getting annoyed because we waited for Pak. Mairin and he didn't show up. The rain had stopped at this time. Hahha. We even asked a satpam to look for our car. Still, after about 50 minutes he didn't turn up so then, everyone was annoyed so we got in a taxi and left.
Our conclusion: Pak Mairin fell asleep -_- zzz.
The same thing happened before actually so no one got mad at him. It happened only once before at Pasaraya. I think it was rainy too that day, and my driver doesn't like rain so he usually sleeps. Well I can't blame him. I could sleep really well when it rains, hahah.
It was a good thing that Pak Mairin woke up soon after we reached home. His phone wasn't working the whole time, but it's a good thing that Pak Mairin is really smart(He has a good memory too. He can go somewhere once and instantly remember the route) and somehow he found out that we went home without him.
I'm not 100% sure if he fell asleep, but yeah. What else could it be? How could he make us wait for 50 minutes? Wakakkakakkakak. He's too smart to get lost.
Anyway... I'm feeling okay today. Well I to remember that things come and go, hahah I'm not talking about my friend from the previous post. He'll always be my friend, :) ahhaha, he's one of those people who knows me best.
Anyway I'm talking more about the short term things in your life. Well I know that nothing is permanent but yeah, exactly the point. Nothing is permanent, so it's normal. Hahahhaha. Things in life will leave you. New things in your life will come too. There is a Chinese proverb or something that says you have to let go of the things you are holding before you can recieve more. It's true. Hahahha. It's one of the realities of life. At the end, anyways, all you'll have is yourself.

i didn't know what to call this post
I haven't written in days, hahha.
I don't know, but there are so many things I want to say... so many things have been going on, both inside my head, and outside of it, but I can't say any of it. Not here at least.
Hahha man I need my 'buddy' :P, it's my time of need and he's probably too lazy to go online -_- the last time i chatted with him was like last week, so many things have happened since then wakakakka.
Well it's not like I tell him anything at all. In fact, I don't tell him anything, it's just that chatting with this person is like the best form of stress-relief for me (since he's not there now, I'm dumping all of my stress onto this post).
Hahhaha I hope he's not reading this.
(For my buddy: Anyways if 'you' are reading this now, thanks a lot. You might not know this, but yeah... hahhaha it's fun chatting with you, and as much as I hate to admit it, I miss it, hahahha.)
The word buddy seems so gay hahahah. Let's just call him my friend, because he is.
He's probably ONE of my most trusted friends. I know he doesn't tell anyone anything that I have ever told him because in truth, he has nothing to say about me to anyone, but the fact that I have an extra pair of ears is great.
It's even better that he's who he is, a person who listens but doesn't do anything about anything at all but still responds and is still caring wakakkaka.
Enough about my so-called friend.
I've been a mess these couple of days. Being where I am now, is just not the same as what it was like a few months ago. I don't know, but there's something different. It's the feeling you get when you know you've been forgotten by someone special to you, a hole drilled through your body(not literally), or something like that. It's just a similar feeling, not really how I feel. I don't even know the reason why I'm like this, but it seems to happen once a while.
I guess that's the bad thing about everything being great. When everything is great, nothing can get better, so it gets worse.
Huahuahauhaua. This is the emptiness people fill by watching dramas, reading books, listening to music, but I guess the real way to fill that hole in your life is to feel connected to God again.
Anywaaaaaaaaayyyy I don't think I have anything else to say. I'm just updating my blog as usual. I don't actually expect anyone to read my blog, and in truth, i blog because blogging helps me emotionally, hahah. I reduce stress and anxiety this way and it actually works. Another reason I blog is for fun and to keep track of all those great, and not-so-great moments in my life.
I want to go to Europe, right now, with my family. Hahah how random.

i love the rain
It's raining for the first time in about one month. I love the rain... haahah, I don't know why. It's just that warm and fuzzy feeling I like when you curl up on your bed with a hot drink and the AC on, on a rainy day. I guess it's the feeling of being sheltered and protected under a roof too, which is really soothing too.
And not just any rainy day, it's best when it rains hard and is dark. There's also something about the sound of heavy rain splattering on the roof, and the sound when it splatters against the window, and ground. It's like music to me. I also like it if my window's all misty because of the rain. Hahahhaa.
I think one of my earliest memories of being alive is watching the rain splatter on the porch outside, and me sitting in front of the closed mosquito netted door, being able to feel the cool wind against my face, and hearing the soothing sound of the rain outside.
Maybe that's why I like rainy days.
It's that 'feeling' which is hard to describe unless you like rainy the same way I like them too.
It's all dreamy when it rains :)))
Well, I haven't posted anything yesterday because I had too much homework -_-.
Thats the downside of being sec3. You get homework by the truckload.
Well it's not really the quantity of homework but the difficulty of the work. Hahaha.
It isn't difficult but more thinking time is required to complete the work properly rather.
Wakakakkak... btw, I didn't realize that an extra 2 periods of physics is so mentally tiring.
Well at least it's not like computer, where you could actually sleep, because it's...right after lunch(I've got to watch my words, Mr. Chairul has a blog too :P).
Hahahha anyways it seems like I've got to do some work now. At least I've made some time for blogging something as unimportant as my love for the rain <3

love is delicious (it's a song)
Okay hahahha, I promise this isn't another no-use post.
I just feel like saying something, to me, it's not important at all, but I'm(obviously) still going to share it because,....well... it struck a chord in me.
Yeah, so I was listening to some music yesterday when I came across this artist. The first song I heard from him was Insomnia which is a cover song, but it's okay. Anywyas, yeah I happened to click this link about the same artist in someone's blog and I came across another song, called 'love is sweet'(well thats what it said on the post but I found out later that it's real name is 'love is delicious').
The weird thing was that when I played the song on the blog(out of curiousity), it sounded super super super duper duper familiar. I knew I heard it before somewhere but I couldn't quite place my finger on it, so yeah, seriously, I didn't know where or when I had heard it before. I even thought he copied it or covered some other english song(like he did with 'insomnia') that I had perhaps listened to a long time ago and changed the lyrics to match the language, but then I realized the tune didn't match any english song I know.
I then downloaded it (despite how hard it was to download because of the name confusion -_-) for later reference.
After downloading it I played it a couple of times and it started to sound pretty catchy, but still, I didn't know where I had heard it from.... until a few minutes ago.
Yeah, the thing is this was the first song we ever used for dance club last year.
I know I wasn't a very active dance member, hahah sorry but I really can't dance, but the thing is, chances are, I would remember a tune once I hear it, and I did hear this one a couple of times during dance.
I remember hearing this for the very first time and I thought it was in tagalog! Hhahaah.
After I listened to it the first time it got stuck in my head for a while O.o
Well Mr.Riz, Jen, and Mich performed with this song for science day or something, with their hoodies, while Arin, Van, Jm, Pece, Brenda and I did the traditional Phillipines water dance thingy. Wkwkwkwk.
Wait, I can't remember if that was on the same day...
Anyways, I've made my point with that song.
I'm not 100% sure it's the same song, more like 95% sure.
It's got to be the same song right? Hahahahha.
Sadly though, I don't think they did the same dance in the video :P
Well I can't remember dances well but see for yourself.
Or, listen for yourself, cause I'm only 95% sure it's the same song(you'd know if you were in the dance club last year):
it's called 사랑은 맛있다, or Sarangeun Mashitda, meaning Love is Delicious. Hahah.

gah
I know this is not actually healthy but I haven't taken my morning shower yet. I've washed but not technically showered. Hahahhaha. And It's 7pm. So I haven't taken my morning or evening shower. Wkwkwkwkwk. But seriously, have you ever felt clean the whole day?
Well anyhow, don't get the impression that I do this everyday. Before you say anything, meet my friend Pece :P (jkjk). This is probably only the 2nd time in my life I'm doing this. Hahahah. Seriously.
Okay, umm so I bought the book I wanted yesterday. Hahahahah. And I insisted paying for this one myself. You know, it's because I want it to be something of my own, my very own. Something that no one else can touch. Well, not that lebay, but something that truly belongs to me, so when I start using it, I can truly say that what I learnt was self taught, since I bought the book myself too.
Only, I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't contain many words I'm looking for, but yeah, it still helps so I can't say that I'm not grateful.
I can't say I don't miss school.
As strange as it might be, I want to go to school tomorrow. Hahaha. During the holidays, I was dreading school but now I think it's like my second home. School school school.
BTW, I just remembered about my homework. Hahahah. I haven't even touched any of my schoo books since I got home on Friday.
Yawn, if there's one thing about school i don't think I'll ever like, it has got to be homework.
Sure, homework gives you something to do but still... homework...is... homework. Hahhaha.
I'm sorta lazy to write posts now. I just keep writing though, even if I really don't have anything to write because for just one month, I want to have a full 31-day post thingy but I don't think I can carry on. It's not that I have nothing to write about. Sure I can write about the many random things that happen in my life, for instance, today, I went to monas(which is a fact), and it was dirty. The thing is, I don't have many interesting things to write so forgive me for writing without a reason. Previously I would only write without a reason in times of extreme boredom, or simply to release stress, but since I am neither stress nor extremely bored my posts don't have much life in them.
The hardest thing though, in writing a random post, is finding a good name for it.
Lately I haven't been thinking of good names for posts, but if I really felt that my writing for that post was purposeful, the name would automatically come.
That's one way you can tell if my post is just going to be some gibberish or some peice of writing I put my heart and soul into; by the title of the post.

quick post
Here are a few thoughts.
1. Why are books so expensive these days? Today I was at Kinokuniya and I wanted to buy this dictionary but seriously? Rp.234.000? I think thats way too much to pay for a pocket 2 language dictionary though I really wanted it -_-.
2.By the way, the Rp.2000 note is purple!! Yeah, hahhaha no, Maria, it's not orange :P Just like we predicted, it's purpleeeee :) Hahhaha. At the beginning of the week, Maria, Arin, Vania, JM, and I were talking about the new colour of this note, and we said that it'd be purple. Turns out we're right. I saw the picture in the Life & Times section of the Jakarta Globe today.
I was reading the papers today both the Jakarta Globe and the Jakarta Post, like I do, almost everyday. Both papers have a few pages about yesterdays bombings. I read that the Indonesian all star players who were staying at the JW Marriot hotel decided to skip breakfast and go to train straightaway, man, are they psychics, or is it just luck? Maybe they can tell the future?
3. Speaking of future telling and stuff, have you heard of indigo and crystal children? They're supposed to be the kids who bring us into a new age. At this point, I don't know what to believe. These kids are said to be born with special 'abilities' though. If you're curious read up about it yourself, because, I'm not familiar with this idea of supernatural kids, I'm not going to write about it myself, but these so called 'indigo and crystal kids' are said to really exist.
4. Hahahhaa, today I saw Harry Potter. I must say that it wasn't great. In fact, it failed to deliver as well as the book did for me. When I was reading it, I imagined the whole movie way more interesting than what I saw on screen, but hey, they can only fit so much into a 2 and 1/2 hour movie right?
Oh, and the one who plays Ron Weasley is an excellent actor. Great acting skills displayed on-screen.
OK that's all for today's quick post. Arghhhh seriously I need that book. I know, who wants a dictionary right? But let me explain to you that over the last one and a half months or so, I have had the sudden urge to learn a new language and so far, I've progressed a bit. But I need the dictionaryyyyyy arghhh.
To be honest this is not the first time I'm trying to teach myself something totally new, but previously, I've given up on many things. This is the first time I've had this burning determination to learn something properly... hahha and it happens to be a language that none of my family is familiar with.
My mum probably thinks I'm whack and that's why she doesn't want to buy it for me. I told her that I'd pay her full price for it at home because I didn't bring the money but she said she'll look for a cheaper version -_-
If I had the dictionary right now, I'd probably be reading it, instead of writing about how I don't have it, but it's okay, I'll buy get one really soon, I'll use my own money if really necessary.
Oh and I want a polaroid camera too, but it's not something I really want, it's just something that I think is nice to have. Oh and the dictionary is more expensive than the polaroid I had my eye on(there's this 2nd hand polaroid selling for Rp.200.000, still in good condition ;) teeheee)
It figures, if I had to choose one, I'd choose the dictionary anyway. Stuff I happen to want more always tend to be more expensive, be it a book over a camera.
I need to buy the dictionary the next couple of days though, you know, before the determination fades away, hahhahaha.
Oh one more thing. Rp.1000 notes are no longer in production!! Ahhhhh. This is sad. It's the dawning of a new economic era here in Indonesia. Instead they're going to start making Rp.1000 coins. But who want's coins???

squeezing the lemon
Finally, the first week of school is over. Hahaha, I think I'm pretty much used being sec3 at RICS now and for some reason, now I feel like the holidays were a distant past.
I can't believe that I've been at school with Oliver for 5 days and the whole time he thought I was Korean! Gaaahhahahhahahha. Until today, that is, after he asked me where I was from -_-
Well that actually happens a lot. Oliver said that he thought I was Korean because of my name(he knew my name first before my face; refer to post day 1, 13th July http://dmvhello.blogspot.com/2009/07/1st-day.html, number 2), Su Kyi, but I actually did encounter situations where people think I'm Korean at first sight, not knowing my name yet and all.
When I was small I had really really small 'sipit' eyes and fair skin so people thought that I was Japanese. Then, after that at about 6 or 7 years of age, I had darker skin and people kept thinking I'm Korean, even until now.
This is an account of how I have been mistakened as a Korean since a very young age:
My house is really close(walking distance) to this Korean store called Mu Gung Hwa and I go there if I need something and it's an emergency(but it's really expensive so I don't go there a lot). When I was really small, I remember going there and seeing this really tall Korean lady. The lady was happy to see kids for some reason and she probably thought I was Korean so she started speaking Korean to my sister and I and for some reason she just took these candies of the supermarket shelves and gave it to us for free. That lady must have been the owner of the store or something. Hahhaha.
Another time when I was older, I went there and accidentally stepped on this lady's foot and she didn't really get mad but instead she just started speaking Korean and I didn't want to make her feel embarrassed so I just smiled.
More recently when I moved to Raffles last year, MinJi, my friend thought I was Korean. She only told me after this other Korean person asked her if i was 'a new Korean kid'. At that time she just responded by laughing, and then she translated what that guy asked her and explained how she also thought I was Korean at first.
I know that I don't actually look Korean to everyone. In fact it's a matter of opinion, and sometimes people say I that don't look oriental at all. I bet the people who thought I was Korean at first are just gonna laugh now when they think about it because now that they see me everyday they realize that in truth I don't look Korean, hahaha.
Of course name contributes to the factor too. CH said that sukyi is a pasaran and alay name in Korea. Hahhaha. Idk ah...
...but I do want to learn Korean if I have the chance.

Today school was supposed to end early, so it didn't disturb the schedule so much when school briefed us about the bombings and dismissed us.
Yes, 4 bombs went off today in Jakarta. One in JW Marriot, for the second time, one in The Ritz Carlton, and I don't know where the other ones went off.
Manchester United who was scheduled to play soccer here this month canceled on us because of this.
It is rumoured that there are 4 more bombs that haven't happened yet, let's just pray that no more bombs explode anywhere.
I recieved this message from friends. I don't know if it's true or not but they say that instead of 4, 40 more bombs are going to go off.
Sktr 40 bom blm meledak. Area yg harus dijauhi, kuningan, fx, gi, pi, sensi, pp, smua clubs, bars, cafes, hyatt hotel, international schools, dubes usa, ausi n uk,airport...org bali pun hrs mulai waspada..Menurut pengamat politik, ad kmgknan ini otak pelakuny bkn terrorist biasa, melainkan seorang cawapres yg sangat capable utk mengguncang indonesia, sperti thn 1998... Anda tahu siapa? Sebarkan
Wow everything is happening so fast. Life is like a dream. Things just come and go like that. Bomb scares like these make you remember what's really important in life and that we must treasure what we have now because we take so many of the little things we have for granted, and thats when you never know what you have till it's gone.
By the way, one article I read yesterday really reminded me of one thing many people deem unvaluble and really take for granted. What is this thing? Hahaha it's your smile. Your smile is such a precious thing...
Read about this girl in California who has half of her face paralyzed and can't smile.

Whoevers reading this post is probably really lazy to carry on reading such a long post, hahha, I'm going to just write a little bit more today, about school, and miscellaneous.
To make it less heavy to read, and less difficult to wirte and revise, I'm going to put my thoughts in numbers :P
I don't have that much to say about today though so there's no way the numbers will go further than 10 :)
1. We're on holiday on Monday!!! Yeahhhh. Hahahha, I really shouldn't be happy... many people are sad today, and regarding my bad mood yesterday(last post, 16th July), Yeah, that's gone now. I was clearly just paranoid, and in fact there was actually no reason at all for me to have been disturbed(actually there was a bit, but it's okay). In other words, I made a mountain out
of a moehill. Don't do this people, because if you make a mountain out of a moehill like I did, the one who ends up suffering is probably going to be you yourself.
2. School. Hmmm, I'm starting to enjoy sec3 more and more. It's great, seriously, but more and more people are dropping triple science by the day. At the end, after Ben leaves, it's just gonna be me and Harddi with Mr. Adinas. Wkwkkwkw. We had A.Math, Computer, Chinese, and Biology today. Like I said, we have less subjects today because school planned to release us early every Friday.
For Chinese we continued watching Shaolin Soccer, but we still couldn't finish it.
For Bio, We had to remember the characteristics of all the 5 kingdoms in the binomial system thingymajic. Miss Janet is actually a very effective teacher, but apparently, I don't read instructions properly so I ended up doing the activity wrong, hahha. I'm not going to drop biology. I think it's fun. Hahhahaa. It's just the first week and already alot of people want to drop it.
Have backbone people!! The Physics lessons haven't even started!! Hahah just kidding, do what you want, I have to wait for my brother after school anyways so might as well sit for a class right?
3. Our new schedule is out. we still have PE on Mondays, and it's a holiday on Monday right? That means no PE for 2 consecutive weeks. Hahahah. Now the missing physics classes appear on the schedule. I so have to catch up, I practically didn't have physics for the whole week, while the other class have. Our new schedule has so many double periods. Almost everything is doubled. I guess it's effective that way too. Eveytime we start a lesson people are late and it takes time for the attendance so it's easier to have two periods in one go right? Even if it's mental torture.
4. Pece visited school today. She brought me 5 packs of Bontea. Bontea is this green tea candy that tastes a little strange the first time but you eventually get used to it and after a while it even tastes really good, but not many people are used to it. It has lemon filling.
I'm definitely not going to eat ALL of it, anyways, I gave two of the packs away. I'm probably going to bring it to school on Tuesday to share with people. Sharing is caring :) hahhaha.
Okay hahha that's it. I'm practically drained now because I have nothing else to share. Totally nothing. If I was squeezing a lemon in this case, I've squeezed every last drop of lemon juice. Yeah I know, that's a weird way to explain it but yeah...

making stories about Jamie O.
Arghhhhh seriously, today I'm not in a great mood. I feel so bleehhhhhhhhh. My mind hasn't been at peace for the last 8 hours or so but slowly I'm beginning to melt away all my troubles with a little Internet time :)
Obviously I'm not gonna write about everything that has been disturbing me for the last few hours because I believe that not everything has to be shared with everyone, especially if it's online and open for everyone to read.
Well maybe I'm not THAT disturbed. I'm just quite annoyed, it's just something that I can't place my finger on, so I'm quite frustrated; well that's just one of the things, and maybe I'm just paranoid or it's the overreacting from my occasional mood swings, idk, but these things do happen.
Today school wasn't bad. Actually english class was not as boring as I thought it would be when I started sec3. I thought we were going to write everyday or have boring grammar lectures but seriously, I haven't had an english class which was fun like this for a long time.
For english class today, we did this quick activity where we get into groups and write a short story about a picture that the teacher gave us.
My group was Jonathan and David and JM. I think it's fate that I'm always in a group with Jonathan and David(like the last 4 times)because this time, a few seconds after the groups were made, HyunJi and HyeWon came in, and if ony they came a few minutes earlier, the groupings would have been completely different(just like the english lesson on Tuesday when we had to form groups of 3 and all the members were all mixed up and switched I ultimately ended up with Jote and Dave again).
Anyway Jess was part of our group this time and the teacher gave us a picture of Jamie Oliver, the naked chef, the minister of food :P. Hahaha.
Our story was really messed up, we wrote about this guy called Jamie who had a passion for food and when he was cooking oneday he turned on the TV and saw 'Thriller'. We wrote that apparently, Jamie was in shock after seeing the video because of his dearly departed 'half-brother' Michael Jackson, which caused him to mix-up the ingredients. Our story then goes downhill. An explosion occurs due to Jamie's lack of concentration and Jamie injures his arm. His injured arm leads him to depression and eventually Jamie kills himself.
It was fun though. :), then again for some reason grouping with Jonathan and David is always kind of fun because of all the random and retarded things they talk about. Plus this time we had JM :P
Other than that there was nothing else fun today. Well there probably was but to me, this activity was the highlight of the day.
Yeay, hahha I'm in a good mood now. Well I'm not sure what kind of mood it is but it's the mood where you are in the mood to sleep, but it's not sleepiness. I think I'm just more at peace now.

(Note to all, The story above is just fiction and nothing about it was based on real-life events involving Michael Jackson or Jamie Oliver)
So yeah it was one heck of a story. The Michael Jackson part about being half brothers and all was totally random, and we originally wrote that Jamie broke his arm but I don't see how you can break you arm from an explosion, or how an explosion can even happen by mixing up wrong kitchen ingredients in the first place. It was fun though. :), then again for some reason grouping with Jonathan and David is always kind of fun because of all the random and retarded things they talk about. blog changes
Someone once told me that looking at the colour green alot is healthy for the eyes and serves as an eye therapy. Hahha, I have no idea how much of this is the truth, but hey, what have you got to lose? Anyways it's about time I change something about my blog. I was fiddling with the colours when I remembered what my friend said about green being a natural eye therapy. I guess it'd be a refreshing change ;).

This is what my blog looked like before I did anything to the colour:

first attempt to fiddle with the colours: looks really weird (I can't believe that I thought I really wanted to leave it this way!!!)

Last, this is what it looks like now. I'm not completely satisfied but at anyways to me it looks better than the grey one above.
Another change that some may have noticed about my blog is that I changed the name of the blog from 'Life as I see it' to 'A Piece of My Mind'. The new name is just experimental, so I'm just gonna leave it like that for a while. I bet it's quite a common name and I'm not quite used to it. Hahhaha.
Well I guess thats pretty much it. I changed some other things too but I don't have to explain every single one of my changes in detail do i?
I've decided to keep the url dmvhello.blogspot.com though. I can't change that :)
do monkeys swim?
It's only the second day of school, yet we have HW. Ergh, I had my first chemistry class ever. I never used to have chemistry, hahha just combined science before.
The most boring class of the whole day was computer. I'm sorry but maybe it was just because I was sleepy so I found it hard to concentrate or something. Anyways computer looks like its going to be one of the most difficult subjects.
The most fun class today was geography. I haven't been in a class with my old sec2A classmates like that for so long, so I enjoyed geography plus all we did was talk. What I don't like abt geo is that we're gonna do this project thing. BLEHH(sorry but I don't really like investigative projects).
TeeeHeee
Today after school I got(more like borrowed) the BOF OST CD from Peceee > oh yea she visited today hahha she looked much taller for some strange reason.
Argh but the one song I totally hate from the album right now is Paradise. I don't hate it, but the song has been played in the drama like a thousand times... especially when the main characters went to New Caledonia, so yeah I became really sick of that song after the Caledonia part. Wkwkkwkw. (No offence to T-Max) =) Plus it's not actually a bad song.
My total favourite song from the CD has to be Algoinnayo by Someday. :D :D :D It's so good hahha. After listening to it a couple of times I put it on repeat mode so Algoinnayo would keep on playing over and over again. It's a totally good song hahaha. idk abt you guys but to me it's good.
Listening to these songs really makes me miss the drama. Man I wanna watch it again but it's too soon to rewatch it, because i'd probably get bored. I have to wait at least 3 months so I kind of forget the story -_-. Nonetheless it'll never be the same as my first round watching it when everything takes you by surprise and watching makes your emotions run everywhere. If I could erase my memory of the series I would, and then I'd watch it again :P. But I'd still want to remember the OST and I'd want to remember that I've watched it before.
Ahhh this song is so good, I just ripped it into my iTunes and the play count already says 19. Hahahha. I'm not sure about the meaning but it's something about love. I'm sure it's a very sweet song but I like it without knowing what the meaning is anyways so it doesn't matter much.
Oh I have a few questions and I'd be grateful if anyone could answer, you know just to put my curious mind at ease (I'm asking these questions out of 100% curiosity).
1. can monkeys swim?
2. if you type in korean/japanese/chinese/arabic or any other language that doesn't use the english alphabet to form words, are there computer fonts?
those are all the questions I have been pondering about for the last few days. If I have anymore I'll post them up too hahaha.
Oh and btew if humans evolved from monkeys does that mean that monkeys can swim too? They have like really long arms and their respiratory system is kind of the same right? Hahah I totally have no idea about monkey anatomy so please, fill me in.
I'm coming down with a cold. Hahah.
